SD Card Cached Map

Please note: Creating your own cached map is not covered in this document

  • Create a folder at the root of the SD Card named GeoSync Go - this is case sensitive so make sure it matches exactly

  • Create a subfolder under GeoSync Go named Cache - this is case sensitive so make sure it matches exactly

  • Obtain or create a cached background map formatted for GeoSync Go. Copy the cached map folder and its contents directly under the Cache folder on the SD Card.   The resulting folder structure will be ...SDCard\GeoSync Go\Cache\

  • After copying is complete, open the GeoSync Go app on your mobile device and view the settings. Go to the Advanced tab and set the Cache Directory to the appropriate SD Card

  • Go to the Project tab in settings. In the Map drop down, you should see a new option for the cached map you added. Select the new option and the cached map should now be used by the app
